Dual Rushing vs Good Rusher

I can dual rush alright but it never seems to be any better than my Rush then Lust and i feel like im sacraficing speed (getting to lust) by making the second hall and peons. If i can survive without havin to build defense during the dual rush its great because i can go 6 rax ogres but I cant seem to keep up with my oponents rush and i feel i would do better if i just flat out dualed. Most of the time the rush is just a waste. How do you keep up with a good rushers while your dual rushing?

All you're doing when dual rushing is surviving until you can get ogres. If you can get a lucky hit with your grunts and kill some peons or get them on the defensive, then that's great. To survive, just learn to micro your grunts, and learn how to place your buildings to slow down his rush, and you'll be fine.

True. The reason i dual rush isnt to outrush the opponent, it's to survive his rush WHILE getting mass economy. The key is to try to delay the moment you get outrushed, or even better, never get outrushed. If he outrush you too quick then he will be able to make 2 cats and break in. But if you can keep him from stopping rushing (ie to make cats), then the game is over, unless he counter dualed, but in that case, hes the one whos prolly gonna get outrushed.

i can beat most rushes with my dual rush now, playing ef doesn't make you a better player you idiot. Ef just means you can concentrate more on unit control and strategy for more quality games.
