confused with editor

 confused with editor

I have a question about the units. In the editor a grunt damage is listed as 6 basic and 3 piercing. also 8b-4p for ogres and 3b-6p for archers. while in the game a grunt is 2-9, 2-12 or so, and 3-9. wtf?
