 | Warcraft 2 Community Makes It's Mark of the World Ok guys, I need some help.
Basically I want to make the best war2 SC2 showmatch of all time and do it for a good cause.

The idea is that we get KHB to make a return of the mothership rush (which has like a million hits on youtube) vs a reputable player (nerzyman maybe)

And then have people casting the game while announcing that it's for a good cause.

The casters have to be funny/interesting and plugging the good cause throughout the match - kinda like a tv marathon kinda thing but making the game the focal point of the game.

We'll basically link the viewers to the causes' donation account where they can donate money.

So basically what we need is :
 #1 Can KHB still play
#2 is Nerzyman willing to do this
#3 is KHB willing to do this
#4 is somebody good at making youtube videos(looking at frost)
#5 who is good at commenting/casting? I could do this myself with possibly a co-caster or others could do it. I don't really care if I'm involved
#6 I will have to create the youtube channel that it's hosted on and it will be called Gaming for Charity however frost or whoever is going to be doing the video editing will have access. I just need proof of my involvement somehow.

The cause itself is really not that important. I would let KHB/Nerz decide on the cause (has to be a reputable organization) for playing.

 So who's down?

I was mentioning that it would benefit you through exposure which is obvious but I think the main draw here is that you'll be helping a good cause, and proving that something that you love can be used to benefit society.

The reason I want to get this together is for an ethics course that I'm taking in college and it's an assignment. My angle is that a business can utilize their employees in different ways to support charitable organizations on behalf of their company. And I'd be using KHB as the example of that since he works for blizzard.

Edit: I might actually get a really popular caster to do this if nobody else is interested, like husky starcraft or HDstarcraft or Day9 but I'm thinking that having this all accomplished by the war2 community would make it even better.

Also we can plug warcraft 2 and this video is guaranteed to reach millions of people.

 | It's entertaining how I watch GSL/SC2 and realize I've met all of these players before, 15 years ago.
You have the egomaniacs like oGsMC who put on big words/show about their greatness. There are the outspoken, arrogant assholes like IdrA, who are actually pretty good but not as good as they think they are. There are the cold, calculating bot-types like Nestea, like the previous two, but a lot less loud about it. The provoking, "Clown" type like HuK. The "WTF is he doing?" inventor types like TLO/Slayers Boxer. And then the fat guy (July).

 | someone told me that Boxer used to play war2 on the zone.. I kinda remember a boxer on there and it would make sense.
It's too bad that online gaming wasn't as popular back when war2 was the big deal, some of us could have made some money. A lot of these SC2 guys are charging over a hundred dollars an hour to coach newbies. I don't know what's more ridiculous - the fee or that someone is willing to pay it.

What are you talking about? You refuse to learn or think? Or are you mocking me for ridiculing kids who pay other kids insane amounts of money to teach them how to play a video game.

 | It's great watching the pros play SC2 nowadays. I wonder if anybody who watches SC1/2 on TV wonders of competitive RTS origins? In a way it's a little sad that those golden days on Kali are forgotten, I kinda hope one day somebody does a documentary on that given the popularity of professional SC2 around the world. |
