Questions about rushing

What's the most effective rushing on GOWbne, pud on ef? And is a two rax rush like the following good?
townhall
farm
barracks
smith
2nd barracks with the same peon who built 1st rax

Then when getting 17+ peons, switch 10 to lumber? Thx

well, that's pretty hard to say. axolotl's opinion might differ from mine, but you really dont want to get the second barracks(ESPECIALLY on GowBNE) till after you have scouted your opponent. Personnally, I like to repair my first barrack if I decide to rush in order to find my opponent quickly. scout with 3 grunts and then find them and react properly. so many people dual though, and depending on how much defense they have, 2 raxes can be costly. you really want to have a more flexible order. that is, however, a good rush/lust

Or Axolotl might agree.
Note that when he says you scout with the 3 grunts, he means individually. Sent them around different directions as soon as you have one done (I hope that's what he meant).

I usually repair my barracks on gowbne as well because it's a 2 Hallers dream map.

If you wait til you have 3 grunts together, I'll already be walled with a gold flow going.
You gotta get on your enemies fast on that map.
If I was 2 hall rushing and you scout that late, I'll be getting my mound by the time you outrush me.

As for the 2 hallers dream map...12 2 is such a shitty 2 hall spot that i would puke, 6 and 8 and easy pickens for oting and a hard rush. and 9/11 dual is great and 4/5 is good too.
