New Ladder Maps/Upcoming Patch
So they've basically taken out half the maps and replaced them with huge macro maps and they're working on an upcoming patch that's going to have some balance changes in favor of zerg. They're turning fungal growth into more of a DPS spell and less of a stasis spell. (increasing vs armor damage and decreasing stasis time)
Also getting rid of toss +25 energy for templars upgrade. Meaning they'll start at 50 energy and you have to wait to use storm.
Anyway, I'm not sure that the fungal growth 'buff' is going to help since it will decrease it's ability to slow down pushes and essentially acting as a missile means that it can be dodged.
I like the new maps though - it makes the game seem a lot more like BW

How can you possibly complain about zerg/terran imbalance from a terran perspective. I really don't understand. You must be playing some sick zerg players that are running you over consistently because I RARELY win against terran and I'm like 80% in my zvz and zvp matchups.
The problem is that in order to be effective against terran - you require sick APM to control 5 groups of units at a time simultaneously in order to stop some guy going "STIM HUR HUR ATTACK YAY MY MEN KILLED HIS MEN"

Battlecruisers absolutely rape zerg in late game. 3 or 4 along with mmm is extremely hard to deal with.

well you can take any unit and say the same thing. If they have a giant flock of mutas then yeah, it would be dumb but I think most people have been using infestor builds lately in zvt.

I don't think so - Infestors are a lot more practical, especially earlier in the game. The only thing they don't do for you is give you map control, which I don't really find is a big deal against terran anyway.
Mutas are good but you're basically throwing the game into the hands of the starcraft 2 gods with them. You have no control over baneling damage, and if you fly into a bad situation and lose too many you're dead.

The charge change is interesting. The zealot doesn't stop charging till it hits a unit atleast once. _________________ I have hacks in my brain and I use them.
