Cheaters in singleplayer gets banned

I just read an article in norwegian that players that cheat in the singleplayer part of sc2 now gets banned too.

If thats true I find it pretty lame by Blizzard.

What are you guys thoughts about this?

I think it's good, sorry that you got banned for cheating rat but sc2 is better without hackers/cheaters

hacking online should be a result of a banned cdkey, especially in this competitively tracked league

hacking offline, considering u bought it and what u do with it on ur time and with ur own personal use, as long as its not harming others- is fine

what happened to good ol' cheat codes?
it is a good day to die - would solve offline hacking?

"offline hacking" that sounded terrible lol

if you are so bad that you need to cheat at single player, you deserve to be banned.

Campaign is frigging easy.

single player is inextricably linked to multiplayer on sc2, so while i think a ban for getting an icon (which is basically what single player comes down to) is a bit harsh. i do think they should have had some kind of punishment tho

Obviously if you Make a program to alter the game they can ban you, if there are inbuilt cheats like Glittering Prizes then they can't ban you for that, personally cheating in games ruins the entire experience

Its not part of the campaign and therefore has low priority.

Blizzard last week filed suit in the Los Angeles US District Court against three programmers, accusing them of creating and selling hacks for Starcraft II in violation of the end-user license agreement, Battle.net terms of use, and copyright law.

but if they r distributing hacks for profit specifically breaking terms and agreements - they deserved to be sued by all right as they did violate a contract and make bank, thats clearly exploiting blizzard product. is just the result of 'gameplay advantage' or 'loss of interest' hell maybe even endangerment of the company - arent typical ends of a normal suing case.

however, i still stand by my previous post that if they r strictly offline, the hacks are allowed, but even hacking to earn achievements offline should be grounds for suing too.
