The patch did nothing. Was just checking an old top 200, out of the top 20, only 1 zerg. Zerg hasn't won a major tournament (out of like 15 or more). Many top Ts and Ps have 65%ish or more winrates, all the top zergs have low 50% win rates.

Zerg shit is underpowered, but still fun to play

how i win with zerg now:

play defensive early and mid game.
get brood loords.
kill him.

i actually switched to zerg because terran is boring as fuck and i don't like the protoss playstyle, i'm like .500 so far which is decent considering i've never played zerg before but it's much more fun

The problem with Zerg is that you absolutely have to scout, and there are some units you don't hard counter well. If a toss gets a few collosi and you aren't ready to counter it, your ground is completely obliterated.

vs T there are so many early strats you have to scout/prevent, you just have to do a lot more as zerg rather than just macro up and build your army.

I will say that P and T likely have more micro involved in battle with FF and stim kiting vs zerg attack moving, but outside battle there is so much shit to do[/list]

I think zerg are still weak compared to the other races. But I don't think Terran are boring. Quite the contrary. I think Terran have the greatest variety of all the races. You have several options to open with. 2 completely separate tech trees, it's almost like having 2 races in 1. I also read quite a few rants that zerg were boring because they have such a poor variety of units and so little flexibility in openings. But I guess if you get bored with one race it's always nice to try a dif race to spice things up.
