Map Editor
Hey guys, I'm not sure where to post this, but I am looking for a map editor and can't seem to get the one for download on this site to work correctly. I've followed the instructions but still get and error about not finding the support/tomes/tome file.
So I was just wondering if there is a better option for a map editor or any further instruction on how to get the one here to work.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

i had the same problem with that
you could always get one of those non-blizzard editors

Hm, thanks zzzKOTzzz for his job at map editor, but unfortunately he didn't make it carefully:
You need to install it only to c:\games\war2bne\
or fix that path in r_edit.reg and edit.bat
And remember to run r_edit.reg to install it

I find it out!
It worked with very old combat version.
To make it work you just need to update your registry:
code:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Blizzard Entertainment\Warcraft II BNE]
"War2CD"="."
Just run the .reg file with that content and enjoy!
May be I'll find any time to fix all that bugs with war2 editor

When you download the editor it comes with a .reg file. Open the file in notepad, copy and paste that shit in, then save it, then double click and run the .reg file.
