Depends greatly on skill level. And since I feel it is stupid to post my answer without explanation, I am going to.
I feel in the lower/mid skill level range, zerg is severely lacking because they require the most mechanics to execute properly.
-Constantly spreading creep
-Managing larva correctly
-scouting
- flanking
-inject larva
-etc
It is just a lot of stuff to do for someone who isn't insanely fast.
At the same skill level, I feel as though Terran is the easiest to execute. A low skilled player can get by relatively easy by just 1a2aing their army.
Protoss is sort of caught in the middle. They got really powerful units, but they cost a shit load of resources/supply. They are also a more micro oriented race. (Collosus, high temps, blinking stalkers, etc)
The biggest problem I have between the races is the macro mechanics for each race. Zerg has larva inject, which is extremely punishing. If you miss a larva inject, you can't make up for it. However, with protoss and terran, you can make up for missed macro since there is no cool down involved with mule and chrono.
At high level play, I feel the races are pretty balanced. As meta game changes, this could change as well, though. We have only scratched the surface of strategy in SC2.
Also, ZvZ is absolutely brutal. Worst MU in RTS history. _________________ "I tend to thougoughly enjoy my encounters significantly more with 120+ types, as I find them more stimulating. 100-110 people are okay too operating at full capacity." - Paper_Boy

PvZ is probably the most balanced match up in the game. Only real cheese is 4 warpgate all in, which is easily stopped if you scout it and throw up 4-5 crawlers and get your hydras out at proper time. _________________ "I tend to thougoughly enjoy my encounters significantly more with 120+ types, as I find them more stimulating. 100-110 people are okay too operating at full capacity." - Paper_Boy

saying one race is > another means you're bad and don't know or understand the game, sorry. look at what sypher wrote, that is a much more accurate description of the state of race balance atm

it was a simple and true statement, but of course not covering all allspect of the game just like author of this thread wanted. _________________ GreenHorn: Nexus cried every time I beat him but still thought he was better.

In general I think terran is the best, then toss then zerg. Reason is because Terran dominates Zerg. That better foonat? Dumb cunt. _________________ I have hacks in my brain and I use them.

no it isn't because everything you said is wrong
on a more relevant note, i have been getting matched up quite a bit (half my games) against protoss, seems to be popular at the moment

i think it comes down to zerg being more difficult to play effectively than the other two races, with terran being the "easiest" to play. at high levels, they are very even

So zerg/terran is equal match up? Great. Why do you even bother to post?
First post in the thread sort of sums things up. You are the asshole he was afraid of when he made his post. _________________ I have hacks in my brain and I use them.

Seems like all my games are vs Terran or Zerg. I wish I got matched vs more toss. I love that matchup. _________________ "I tend to thougoughly enjoy my encounters significantly more with 120+ types, as I find them more stimulating. 100-110 people are okay too operating at full capacity." - Paper_Boy

Zerg is pretty fun, except for the ZvZ matchup. I am getting pretty decent and countering mass baneling with a 15 hatch 14 pool build. I just don't gas and get two crawlers and park my queens on my ramp. Usually forces a macro game, which I am a bit more comfortable with.
I have got into some pretty funny situations with that build. Lots of people drop banelings after 1 or 2 fails and go 1 base muta. Since I get my gas so late (mid 20's), I have to pump out like 5 queens to defend before getting my hydras out. Mass Transfuse ftw! From there I just roach hydra with a couple infestors and out macro. _________________ "I tend to thougoughly enjoy my encounters significantly more with 120+ types, as I find them more stimulating. 100-110 people are okay too operating at full capacity." - Paper_Boy

the best part is when playing random, every race you play is imbalanced

I have a hard time with ZvP matchups, and I always choose random, which so far has had me as zerg 8 out of 9 times or something
