Any Old Schoolers Still Playing War2?
Hey do any of the old school guys still play this game? I recently came back to the game and would not mind playing some 2v2 games and see unblessed and IamThIbe (aka unforgiven) ride again. Hackers need not apply!

WOW... can't believe it.
I started with WC I and moved to WC II as it came out. I preferred Kali but caved in and moved to BattleNet. I played it until just a couple years ago when I really couldn't find anyone left to play but hackers and one pud wonders. When Dogface gave up his website "Warcraft Forever" I started giving up on WC II. I may have always sucked at the game, but I put more hours into it than I will ever remember. I tried what they called War Craft III and hated it. What a rip off of the War Craft name. I manly play battlefield II and some Call to Duty now. But WC II will always be my favorite game.
Guess I'm waiting for a new release of WC II... maybe they can call it WC II Plus since they didn't get it right with what they called WC III. Think I have a long wait? ....Ya.... that's what I'm thinking too. The people in hell are still waiting for ice water aren't they?
I play WC II stand alone once and awhile just for old times and to hear the music that my bones still vibrate too. Don't even know why I keyed WC II in and did an internet search. What a supprise to see people still talking about it and sounds like playing it. Tried to get on the server but didn't work for me. Oh well...

Why didn't the server work?
Easy 15mb download, then make sure you check rewrite Gateways on installation, and then make sure you pick server.war2.ru and not the VPN server. It should work!
btw I agree with you that they struck out with WC3
