burnt, make me admin please.
some guy has been spam attacking the chat yesterday and again today.
i banned probably 30 or more names by now. then he began spamming via pm's from the void. you gotta give me admin so i can ip ban and knock this guy off the server.

in my ideal world, I would just ban the guy's ip and then delete all his accounts. Instead, I've stopped like 7 or so spam attacks and had to ban all the names everytime.
As it is, the accounts all still exist, just like any other account that gets created. They just can't join the War2BNE forum. Maybe they get deleted from inactivity eventually but I am not sure how this server handles that.

im frustrated at being mod and not admin, can't take the necessary action win problems are presented. have to resort to inferior solutions.

i already explained this. he has no pre-programmed response to the matter at hand so he'll just ignore it. pretty much he's the best at finding the worst way to handle things. take for example this situation... if he says no, we all hate him... if he ignores it, we all hate him... if he says yes and makes blid an admin we go about our merry way trusting in blid's judgement and feeling secure that its not just one 15 year old douchebag running the server. seems like a clear choice to anyone else...

Burnt, did you just completely avoid the question? Me and Blid have been on Mod watch in the channel the last few days, and have had to manually ban a buncha people like Blid said. i posted 3 times in this thread before he made his first post. i just tend to expect some substance in responses like he actually read the question or complaint and instead it always seems to be dodgy answers and sloppy copy+paste jobs. if he's going to run the server he needs to run the server. the ladder gets updated every 3 days, blid and sexican do all the dirty work with the server, and burnt just speaks like a politician and posts on a few forums.
