ive played in a few jetsets in the last week and I placed 5th in an Omaha on sunday and 3rd in an Omaha that just ended (i started @ the same table with 3up3down, but of course i raped him :p).

Once I got down to the last 5, two hands against the same guy really shook me (and also stripped me of tons of chips)

The first hand was AKT8 (omaha gives you 4 cards, remember), and I flopped top two pair (Tens and 8s), the blinds were so significant that the pot was already sizable so I just pushed all-in to take it down there. I got called by someone with a jack-high flush draw. Of course, he hit his flush on the river, but I was the chip leader so I am still in decent shape, no biggie, at least I know that this dude sucks.

THen when there were 3 left, I got delt AKKJ, I had probably $140k tourney chips, and the guy who hit his flush against me had about $400k, the other guy was at about $170k. THe blinds were 10k/20k, i was the BB, the guy with 400k just called the 40k and i push all in. He turns over a QJ64. Flop comes 66T, and I am out.

if that was for real money and I got outdrawn that bad twice I wouldve been very angry. luckily it was for some shitty Go points.

anyway i just had to kinda vent. the final table had some exceptionally tough players, even the dude who nailed me twice was pretty decent.

im averaging 4th place out of 500 for my last 2 omaha tourneys, not bad.

just placed 3rd in another freeroll, this time it was NL Holdem. 500 more stupid go points.

i wish they had cash prizes

skechers i'm pretty sure you wouldn't beat me at any form of poker.

i only have 1300points right now because I've only played in a few freerolls (in which i've gotten two 3rds and a 5th and a couple other places like 18th that give you 12points or something)

only tourney i played in today was a UltimateBet tourney

sometimes my bro uses my account on pokerstars and jetset for freerolls if thats what ur talking about.

im looking at registering that jetset weekender right now but Omaha8 isn't really my best game.

Turn is a 4, someone makes a bet i raise all in, get called.
I now had trip aces with a draw at the nut low.
River is a jack to fill someone's house up.

If the board was A48 and you had 23 you did have the nut low.

oh, right. well it wasnt an 8 then, but it was a medium card (9 through J--probably a 9)
