disappearing file...

disappearing file...

i downloaded a video from kazaa about a week ago. i watched it the day it finished, and hadn't looked for it again siunce then. today i tried to watch it again, but it had disappeared....it was in my kazaa shared folder, now it's poofed. wtf?

only my brother and he swears he didn't delete it...i also did a system restore, nothing...i watched it on 3/10, it's still on the DIVX player recently viewed files list. ran a few searches and i can't find it =/

So it's not probable that your brother is lying, but it's probable it somehow "dissapeared"? Rolling Eyes
If you haven't done anything to it, then someone else did. It certainly didn't "dissapear", nor did someone "hack" you and deleted that exact file, nor did the file have "selfdestruct" (lol) embeded in it so that after one watch it deletes itself.

well, if it was manually deleted it wouild be in the recycle bin, i haven't cleared it in a while. just very wierd

700mb are too big for the RB.

i have dsl, the file took like 50 hours because of very gay download speeds on kazaa

apparently neither of you have a fucking clue about kazaa. kazaa can delete files on its own, read the old open source. based on whether its corrupt and whatnot, all sorts of bullshit checks that are irrelevant and never pertain to anything except some random file you want.

For someone that knows what's going on you surelly have alot of "whatnot" and "bullshit checks".
When you download something, watch it afterwards, kazaa wont/cant delete shit.
