Hi guys. I got a first mouse that can have its DPI adjusted... the logitech G100s.

I'm still experimenting with the DPIs and I have found that I am comfortable with 400 or 500 DPI for warcraft 2.

Jesk uses an adder mouse (iirc) and has a 1000 DPI setting. I would be curious to know what settings you guys play on?

i have a logitech M705 and it's 3200 DPI...

the thing that made a difference for me was setting my mouse speed to 6, and disabling pointer precision ... took me a couple days to get used to but after i unchecked the "enable pointer precision" box i noticed my movements were a lot more smooth and accurate.

Logitech MX518. I use 950dpi and I have Acceleration enabled.

I used the deathadder at 3500dpi last time I played. It also matters on the resolution of your monitor too.

Well, for my desktop usage I crank it up to 1000/1500DPI but for war2 with its 640x480 res, going above 500 is way too sensitive for me. I stay at 400 for EF and 500 for F....

I played war2 with 3500DPI but sensitivity at 2/10 I think in the software and it was fine. Better to use high DPI and lower sensitivity than use a low DPI I think.
