SoC Public Christmas Tourny

I'm hosting a public Tourny on Christmas night (tomorrow) at 12:00am EST (Midnight, technically the 26th). It will be held in channel op SoC, be there if you plan on competing. It will be on a variety of speeds resources and maps, the more players there are the more rounds there will be thus the greater the variety of maps.

I [probobly] won't be playing in it myself as I will be organizing the brackets and such.

WarVid may or may not be used depending on how many people show up or who show up. Warvid can be downloaded at http://war2.warcraft.org/files/warvideo.zip

Note: WarVid will need to be set to 1FPS for each replay.


More information at the time of the tourny, GL and happy hunting to all those playing.



Sorry for the short notice, just thought it would be a fun thing to do for anyone playing Christmas night.

a 15 minutes war video at 1FPS takes about 5 megs and compressed with winrar at BEST compression reduces its size by half to about 2.5 megs..

Pretty useful. Good luck with the tourney.

First of all, the core rules:

SOC TOURNAMENT RULES
1. No smurfs
2. No smurf watchers
3. WarVid is to be used as well as insight. More information about WarVid will be given in by myself in channel upon request. SET WARVID TO 1 FRAME PER SECOND (1FPS)
Download WarVid @ http://war2.warcraft.org/files/warvideo.zip
4. SS's must be taken upon request.
5. Matches not played on given settings do not count.

SS's and Replays are to be sent to SoCzNedoK: Dogfennel@msn.com. They are only to be sent upon request.

Everyone Eliminated in ROUND 1 will be able to then compete in the Losers Bracket Sub Tournament for the title of The Best of the Losers.

Yes, he admits to having hacked on Calveries. He is legit now though, sends Ss's faster than anyone else and took warvids for the tourney.

ROFL. We went 3-3 last serie. U got 9 9 9 12 6 and 8 while i got 8 8 6 4 11 and 2. You play at least 10 times as much as me these days and you know it damn well. If i play more than 10 games in the same day, no one can touch me, you nor viruz, ef nor f. As i recall we ended this serie at fucking 6 am, i could barely stand up. That was a night into which i drank many beers too. Dont get all excited. Remember your last sentence after our last game? "God damn how do u make that much grunts??".

ahaha nah, i came up to 9 with 3 grunts and i had 2 more at home and at that time you only had 3 grunts, 11 was walled with a smith. that told me something was up, and to play it safe i went aggressive on you quick like any smart player would...

Doesnt make sense because at this time my hall at 11 wasnt even done and i went hall farm RAX farm smith as usual and i didnt skip a grunt early on. If u had that much grunt then thats because bara repaired you which he have done before. You know it since i caught u guys on replay that time. I know bara told you i was dualing.
