Gold Rush is a queer map and Schwartzwald isn't the best but those others are fun, especially Dark Paths.

You might like Gold Rush if you play it a few more times. All those starting mines are very low in gold, so you got to constantly be watching for the mines to explode and moving your peasent line, Plus you can do Peon jumps to the middle, send you Peasent into the corner mine, build a smith or mill, barrack, something like that in the spot and the peasent that went in the mine will end up in the middle.
Also there is a mine in the trees that can help you out in the longrun so be sure to be chopping towards it.
Thats basically the map's main strat. If you dont hop into middle and the opponent does, his cat will fuck your mining and there is no way at all you can win. Thats a very one sided map.

Yeah, i unno.. i think Gold rush isn't a good map to put on a IGL tourny... It's just cuz there not much skill really, it's who gets middle fasts/wins the middle

ya better to just put a map like nwtr in, its a gimmick map, but at least it takes some skill.
