Just starting a new thread in the moderated section for everyone's favorite card game. Just wondering what everyone thought of limit games? I just played a limit tournament and I didn't enjoy it very much with about 15 bad beats =O Realizes to much on cards if you ask me. Also please read my post about Sit & Gos.

I enjoy Pot Limit it has a lot of subtle intricateses(sp) which I think most people either don't like or don't notice. I'd have to say it's my favorite game though I tihnk I'm done playing limit.

I like No Limit Hold 'Em the most.

I had a couple questions, though.

If you're playing against a pretty loose crowd of people that in general suck, is there any way to come out a good bit ahead other than by playing pretty tight?

And if you're playing against a tight crowd/couple of people, what's the best way to come out ahead?

Tight is the best way to go against loose players because when you get the nuts you can still get calls and therefore can afford to play only the best and make money. Against tight players there is nothing set you can do though if they are really tight you can usually make little bets and force them out.
