problem with windows xp and warcraft 2

Hi guys,
Sorry if I put this in the wrong forum, but I recently got Warcraft 2, and when I load it up, I get the blizzard splash screen and stuff, but the menu will not work. It comes up all boxed, and when I use the mouse I can see pixels moving everywhere. I assume this is the main menu. Does anyone know how to fix this? Is it to do with my display, if so, how do I change it?
I am running Windows XP home edition and Warcraft 2 Tides of Darkness.
Thanks for reading this

Strange, I get the same bug sometimes with Diablo 2. But never War2. And yes, I use XP.

Make sure yr drivers are updated, emulate Win 98, mail Blizzard support. . . that's all I can think of.

Wait, are you not using War2BNE? Then I suggest getting it; it's not like it's expensive. Wink
