Ogre Rushing on Gseps / Mtc

I have a real problem with this. I usually get about 17 or 18 peons usually about 8 cutting wood, and I can get 3 Raxxes and pump ogres. But the thing is, if a rusher throws up a mill and gets 2 cats I am toast since most of the time I make my raxxes inside base and then bust out with ogres cuz I have to cat in. Any tips on how I can get peons outside tomake raxxes lol? Prefereably from 10, 8, or 4.

Hmmmm...unless you keep a hidden peon outside from the beginning you would have to hop a peon out.

But you should be able to have some ogres before the 2 cats get there. If not , maybe try going keep on 15 peons. As soon as you have 1-3 ogres, make sure you are chopped out. You can have all your raxs inside (much safer obviously), and you should have a few ogres in time. You don't want to be stuck inside when the cats come. That = Death.
Chop out and use them as a choke point. When the cats come, make sure you kill them. Even ifyou can take down the cats and lose your ogres to the grunts, you can rewall and easily defend until you have plenty of ogres.

You are on a 40k mine, 18 peons seems a little excessive.
