Have 1-2 grunts patrolling to kil their scouting grunt. then scout with weakest grunt Rep Mound with 2 peons. Then its up 2 u. You economy is sexy enuff for lvl4 ogers or sapps with late level 4... This ogre rush is Sexy!

First 11 on gold, next 7 on wood. Go hold and you can support 3 rax / level 5 ogres. Alternative is building 4 more peons at stronghold stage and going fort for fast lust. Cookbook strategies blow anyway.

watje, the ogre rush (i think) requires a cat and that means a mill.

I did one in a 1on1 where i get like 8 or 9 peons and no mill, just a wall-in. then i go hold and get like 10 ogres. it takes out all rushes, and if they try ogreing against it, they are screwed. peon scouts usually own it though. I beat badmanner, wulf and a few others with it, don't do it a whole lot tho...

Tq's ogre rush is just power. It doesn't matter that it is slow. I used to use a similar ogre rush and hit them hard while they are going fort. I think the key to this is to have inside raxes so they don't know what you are planning. It is a surprise attack and against a player intent on rushing, it is deadly.
