Ladder rating plans
I had a conversation several days ago about "that numbers in chat". Why did they stop changing?
That's not interesting to play when your score stays the same, and no one wants to play ladder games.
So, I thought: now we have ladder.war2.ru rating, it's quite actual. Why not to get rating from there and use it for inchat icons?
Not so easy now, not high priority, but that could be interesting to keep casual players playing, how do you think?

yes, i already suggested it months/years ago, but dugz[anz] is probably the only one that remembers.
but it shouldnt be your specific rank, that shit would be too messy and changing everytime. Be it 'tiers' or 'grades', for example 1-10 - master tier/grade A, 11-30 - Pro tier/grade B, 31-60 - platinum tier/grade C or whatever and so on

A lot of starcraft pvpgn-based servers have that feature though

nie moze byc rankow takich jak tam, bo nie ma punktow elo. mowimy tutaj o rangach na podstawie (moja propozycja) ranku w tym chujowym ladderze, no i tyle. bylyby z 6 kategorii, rotacja wcale nie taka duza i gitara. problę? xd

Not true, even at the worst of it there were plenty of people who didn't label me a hacker. Nowadays even less people think of me as a hacker, maybe its as high as 50%. More and more people over the last ~two years have come to me saying they no longer hold the opinion that I am a hacker, and instead are unsure as to whether I hack(ed) or not.
Either way though, I've proven countless times that I can hang with any player legitimately (through warvid), and make easy game of most of the top players. So the 'motive' for me to hack, well there is none and never was.

My comment towards you shouldn't have really been about what others think of your skill though. It just so happens that rating someone is completely subjective, if it weren't then I'd just come right out and say it-- it's a fact that you're

Cases Ladder always required outside moderation and even then it did not function perfectly. There needs to be a better system.

I like the Case's system a lot, it's my preferred method of ranking vs. the modern ladder stuff. There's no fear of losing and you can't move up by beating weaker players = COol.

theres no disincentive either, which is a net benefit i think. it keeps it frmo having little to gain but lots to lose. now you can play weaker players if, you know, you feel like playing them, and not have to worry about it
