wow is kinda played out for me. cant devote the time to it currently to beable to do the endgames

i have considered going back on SW Tor

anyone else played it or have desire to check it out. its pretty cool. its not wow but still pretty decent.

it has a free to play option now also.

i have a HUGE sw geek
i played it atrelase but having played it inawhile since they decided to lock me out for some reason and i was to lazy to call in and unlock it.

bioware did an ok job but obviously that has no real experts working on design team.

they seemed to take a page out of wow and was able to automate many issues. im unlocked now and updating the 1gig im behing.

i modeled my first jedi after my priest in wow including the same name. i think i may reroll.

anyon eplayed this or have any interest in playing. they have a free to play option now. tho it gimps several things from you having access to.

you will find no one with my knowlege of the force and the expanded universe than i posses.

the page errored and alot of my post was lost and i was unable to recreate it all.

i think the purpose of those games is to get you addicted to them while achieving just nothing but living a false life on improving a cyber economy that leaves you nothing but a sense of waste of time and waste of life.

long swords, short swords, falinges, pirate swords, spears, halberds, axes, hammers, iron staffs..

each with its own range, weight (pros and cons), makes it good for a good fight

DOTA 2 is kinda fun as a casual game - if I wasn't a strategic genius I would probably play it.

only thing about dota is the 30-60 min game time.

hard to get blocks of time like that uninterrupted for me.


i got swtor updated.

shortly after release it had 50ish servers easy.

its down to 8 servers.

free to play is a bit gimped. but far less gimped that it was when f2p was first introduced.

if you like cut scenes and the multiple options of how to guide your character through conversation this is a good game.

tho early on i found many cutscenes with bugs.

the quests are very wow -ish most of the time.

tradesskills are easy. you just order your crew to go harvest or craft. each with various cooldowns. you get a variety of companions that will travel with you aboard your starship.

there is spacebattle but it wasnt like i hoped it would be. something very similar to the Tie Fighter space sims that use to be made way back in the 90s

there are instances you can do solo or in goups of 2-4. also called flash points.

the pvp zones are neat. with multiple styles.

classes include jedi, sith, smuggler, trooper
of course with the trees of tank/heal/dps

the flashpoints do not require you have each roll filled, atleast the early game.

im sure there is tons i am unaware of.

im going to try out the free mode. see if the few extra bells and whistles for payed subscription are worth it.
