is it possible to play war2 windowed?
had a guy asking me. wondering if anyone knows.

actually theres 3 ways but 3rd is not practical.
1.- Download and Install VMware or VirtualPc (i prefer vmware), install windowsxp or the OS of your choice there, install war2combat, there. you have war2combat running in a window.
2.- Under linux, anything is windowable on that OS.
These 2 i have done myself, they are not theories. and actually the #1 I did a few hours ago.
3.- Have 2 computers, the one with war2combat must also have teamviewer installed, then use your other computer to connect to teamviewer.. in a window.
this one i have also done but not dared to play with. it implies more bandwidth and more good hardware on both computers.

Pretty sure you could do it simply by adding -w or -window at the end of a shortcut's properties. I've done it like that in the past.

Yes, you can use run it in Windowed mode if you use custom. It has a config file already set up for that.
