Seems like they split it up partially because Season 2 ended up glossing over several things, and because book 3 has several epic moments that can serve as "season enders". It just all kind of happens in close proximity. Hope the next season isn't another year off. I think the show is pretty great this season but that last episode was kind of a bust.
Joffrey's a tool and all but he did kind of unexpectedly own Tywin. More of Tywin pwning himself imo. _________________ Kanuks - The fact is you and foonew tried a double gay on me and ended up being BOTH behind me. Enough fucking said.

i agree, of course they are turning jamie into a 'nice guy'
nevermind him throwing bran out of window on season1
but on season 2 him brutally murdering his own squire/emisary/rescuer
then on this season putting jamie character as more of an 'integrity man' by going rescueing brienne of brianna (or whatever the name you know who)
i mean, unless he does it for a whole different purpose yet to be revealed.... makes not much sense _________________ http://phoenixtears.ca/

if you paid attention to the show, he clearly gained a grudging respect for her during their time together. _________________

yeah I love the show - it's the only thing I watch on tv other than basketball. I agree the third season has been kinda dull compared to the first 2, but it's still awesome.

yeah
trying to escape, except in his plans of escaping he had to coldhearted smash the guy's head towards the ground with his steel handcuffs
the guy that was trying to help him...
are you trying to be funny or something?
so thats not brutally murdering someone....
i suppose he voluntarily agreed to die for his master, thats what your saying
get the shit out of your brain, are we talking about different shows or what _________________ http://phoenixtears.ca/

I just started the books again.. read the series back when he had only written 3 books so I decided to start over since I've forgotten the story line and characters by now. Have yet to watch the show. Will do so when I'm done the books again. Stay tuned for more _________________ "If we are the only mammals that cannot take care of ourselves out of the womb, how are we here?" - GoldHP

episode 9 spoilers
what did you guys think of the "red wedding"? apparently that event is what made the producers and main writers of the show want to make it to begin with.
i don't know if knowing it was coming changed my perception of it, but it seemed a tad cheesy at the end of it. walder frey was pretty fuckin badass, but all the casual throat slashes sorta made it look like a parody of itself in my mind. in the book it was also robb and most of his closest allies being murdered. in the show it was just robb and his wife and a bunch of nameless soldiers.

I have not read the books but, in the show, it was epic, epic for the win. _________________

not sure i liked the stuff from the kelly c. storyline, where they killed like 20 soldiers at once or w/e. kinda bullshitty and over the top. the best fight scene is still the one where karl drogo rips out that other dothraki dudes tongue _________________ i zero bagged your mother
