Oculus Rift - this is impressing.

the fov doesn't really look any higher than normal on that screenshot. i'd be interested in something like this for the massive increase in fov alone. other than that though, it's interesting imo, but the games really need to evolve and be different for it to not look really gimmicky and pointless.

yeah i know the screenshot dont resemble what it actually is (or claims to be)
from what I read (its there on the wiki...)
the FOV (horizontal) is double the size of any other current device (widescreen monitors?)
so thats a very good thing
of course i wouldn't buy this before testing, i so wanna try it when it launches
only way to know how good it is...
as for the games, yeah i haven't played a FPS in a long awhile... but i would play those i enjoyed the most with this again.. half life trilogy is the best there is and they just launched full support for this device
i would try oculus rift and a joystick aiming device
nevermind that Omni directional threadmill lol, i have time for workout and time for gaming, dont want to mix em lol:P
