Computer stuff

I want to restore my computer back to factory ( f9 from the boot menu) if i copy all my stuff that I want to my external TB will things like bookmarks go over if I transfer mozilla out of the program files. And also if i copy (not make a shortcut) my Microsoft office pack over will it be useable on the new set up if i dont have the cd keys or cd anymore? I am very basic with computers. Any help is appreciated.

If you're worried about losing your bookmarks you can use firefox sync.

Microsoft Office will not transfer over though so you're going to have to retrieve those keys.

and no you can't just copy office files and expect it to work

you need to reinstall office from the installation files.

If you make a disc image using any reputable free/basic imaging software, all your data will be intact including configurations/bookmarks/cdkeys etc.

However, reloading the image would defeat the purpose of loading the factory default settings Smile

I'm going to respect the moderated forums but I just had a bad ass burn that would have been completely uncalled for.

Google "windows expert tool". Recovers shitton of your keys and things stored in registry. Best one i've found so far.
