You can look at players by league. There are many pages of players listed for each league. The players break down like this:

10 pages of diamond players
19 pages of platinum players
25 pages of gold players
27 pages of silver players
56 pages of bronze players
137 pages of players total
7% of players are in diamond

that's a bit better, a positively skewed distribution makes more sense rather than a negatively skewed one

not sure about my achievement rank but I've gotten more than most.. 2500ish. I think the only ones i'm missing are the viking ones and some of the tech tree upgrade ones from single player. There's a few of them that are glitched that I should have in team games. I'm looking for FFA destroyer. Not sure I will ever complete the vs AI ones.

This is clearly over-rated. Not much competition in Latin America.

That places me (and anyone at 1200) at the exact median point total of all SC2 players worldwide out of 2 million.

Last night I played 5-6 games and jumped 100 points. So in 5 games I jumped about 600,000 rungs up the ladder, approximately 1/3 of the total latter size.

Nah, you are looking at the achievement ranking.

I am at 1260 points which puts me at 6,887 globally. That means you must be around the same ranking.

how are you losing on metapolis, kinda hard to just generalize positions considering there are 500 ways to win/lose a game no matter what position you're in.

7 hours of multiplayer. I let a friend use one, so it's confirmed.
