my division is pretty close to the bottom also, I don't think it really means anything though other than being able to more easily attain a higher division rank. Right now I hop 5 spots every game I win because 90% of the players are within the 350-450 range.

Yeah, after my division was first formed, I hopped 40 rungs by winning one game :) I jumped from around 70 to 30. It should stabilize as the division ages, my division is still pretty young compared to the top division.

also I usually dual vs zerg as protoss ala bw and it seems to be working out quite well. I usually just get an early cannon at my wallin. I find that if u can get 2 bases going with protoss, it's way too easy to run zerg over.
although here's a funny game I played yesterday vs diamond z player where I held off 7 roaches with 1 immortal and probes, came back and won. After the game the guy added me to his friends list so he could continue to rage

I find 2 gate rush hard, get some gas going early and bank it, then go into VR's pretty much rolls face. If they stop the VR's then get a few collossus and it's gg. The early rush does so much damage and puts them so far behind.
If it's a bigger map then I dual after scouting them.

i'm not sure what skill level you are but if the average zerg player on your server plays anything like they do on mine, you're definitely doing something very wrong. The only way a zerg player will beat me when I'm terran is if he gets extremely lucky, does some heavy all-in ling/bling hit, or outplays the shit out of me. Personally I find that putting pressure on them early by blocking their bottom ramp off with a rax/bunkers pretty much guarantees that I win. it stops their natural expansion, stops any lame all in shit they might have been trying, and let's me scout the map to make sure they didn't try to get a hidden base somewhere. Plus you can always fly your rax over their base to scout them afterwards, and salvage the bunkers.

yeah although I'm wondering if 1 gateway constantly chrono boosted would be better economically while still applying enough pressure. I just find that once they start spitting out roaches you're kinda gg'd with your zealots and you really need immos to counter them

Thing is you have to scout. I put the first gateway down usually at 10 probes and then scout my neighbour. If the zerg is there then the 2nd gateway is going down at 12. Then save all your chrono boosts for zealots. If he tries to go roaches that fast he'll die.
Stalkers and sentries can hold off roaches long enough for you to get a VR or immo. I prefer the VR though because it forces him to make more queens or more anti-air, and then he'll go hydras thinking there's more VR coming--in which case you just pump zealots and make a few collossus.
Zerg right now is a pretty easy matchup usually.

I've beaten nerz with toss pre-launch. He's probably a beast now though.
Regardless, if you watch a lot of replays most high end toss are 2 gating or quick xping versus zerg. All depends on map position.
edit: What is Nerzy's id? I had him before beta but he hasn't posted since.

hey listen - you're balls deep in a thread about starcraft 2, in a forum specifically for starcraft 2, weeks after the game came out. You won't see me in a Civ5 forum when that game's released unless I own it or am heavily considering buying it.
