haha.. its the korean CS ripoff.
Once you learn how to quickscope and the maps, its pretty easy to pull this shit off. Obviously this dude has sick reaction time, but you can do the same type of shit only .5 sec slower.
It is just a matter of knowing how long it takes other team to get to x location and what direction hey coming from. _________________ "I tend to thougoughly enjoy my encounters significantly more with 120+ types, as I find them more stimulating. 100-110 people are okay too operating at full capacity." - Paper_Boy

lol what?
I agree that mechanically Protoss is the most 'simple' race; however, at higher levels they require a fuckton of micro.
Terran is the only race that can 1a vs other races and win. _________________ "I tend to thougoughly enjoy my encounters significantly more with 120+ types, as I find them more stimulating. 100-110 people are okay too operating at full capacity." - Paper_Boy

That's all I said, they're a simple race to play for a beginner. Although being a random player I can say that they're the easiest race to use for me at higher levels of play. I just feel like they're so easy to macro and build up a huge economy once you secure your expansion and unlike the other races, you really can't go terribly wrong with unit compositions until late game. I've never been run over by any race using protoss. You might lose a fight but it's never one sided.

I am pretty sure I am the only person on this board that exclusively plays zerg.

heh
Nerz is somewhere between 900-1000 right now, I am at 662, though admittedly i've played less than half as many games as him so far in live and a lot less in beta as well.
He is probably the best sc2 player from war2 by a large margin right now.
I was actually hoping war2 players would represent better but oh well.
I wouldn't put too much faith in the ladder though, while it can be a partial indicator of someone's skill it is ultimately designed through bonus pool and rating system to inflate and give the majority of players the feeling of constant progression.
The MMR system is ok for online ladders but it will take a few months for it to accurately calculate everyone's MMR.
In the end it is just a ladder, don't pretend you are good just because you have points on it, and don't feel you are bad just cause you aren't at the top of diamond.
Just play the game and try to learn it and don't worry about superficial things like a ladder designed for casuals.

some serious wrong with the gas/minerals ratio. I start my third base to get more gas and not more minerals. That feels wrong. _________________ GreenHorn: Nexus cried every time I beat him but still thought he was better.

What race do you play?
As zerg, I always have tons of minerals if i fully saturate my bases. Zerg is just a very gas hungry race. Mutas 100g, Hydra 50, etc.
I typically aim for 1.5 per patch on 3 bases with all gas's at max. usually keeps it pretty balanced and gives me higher mineral/minute than someone on 2 bases with 3 per patch. _________________ "I tend to thougoughly enjoy my encounters significantly more with 120+ types, as I find them more stimulating. 100-110 people are okay too operating at full capacity." - Paper_Boy

Just 2gate.
Zerg is at a huge disadvantage mid game against a 2gate. There is a huge window where zerg is extremely vulnerable vs 2gate. _________________ "I tend to thougoughly enjoy my encounters significantly more with 120+ types, as I find them more stimulating. 100-110 people are okay too operating at full capacity." - Paper_Boy

Lol.. I currently rate(and rank) higher than Capook. Nerz is top 100 NA. What is koorbs in game name? _________________ I have hacks in my brain and I use them.

That's nothing. I am top 7,000 in my region. My 21 wins and 58% win ratio is simply epic. Watch out Nerz, I am nipping at your heals.... _________________ Give me a lever long enough and I shall move the world. - Archimedes

I used a 3rd party website:
Starcraft 2 Rankings
Use the search button on top, middle button.
Edit: my ranking is top 9,000 in NA, not 7,000. Even more epic! _________________ Give me a lever long enough and I shall move the world. - Archimedes

Actually, use the character code button if you know their name and code, or else you might see lots of duplicate names.
You can get many war2 players names/codes from here:
Screen names and unit code
Not sure why my rank keeps changing. Sometimes it says 6,000 ish, sometimes 8,000 ish. Ah well.
What are Nerz/nalz's name and codes? _________________ Give me a lever long enough and I shall move the world. - Archimedes

Check out the differences between diamond divisions. here is the top rated diamond division(Average points 749):
Medivac Alamo
and here is mine(average points 408):
Torus November
And here is the worst diamond division(average points 298):
Zer’atai Indigo
My division is closer to the bottom than the top. _________________ Give me a lever long enough and I shall move the world. - Archimedes
