I basically finished it the same way. Walled in with planetary fortress, mass tanks for defense, then cloaked banshees to take out the worms. I played it the other way too, with the broodlords instead of worms. Upgraded vikings and turrets raped them though. I woulda mixed in some bcs too but I never got the upgraded missiles for my bcs.

I botched my upgrades. I never got the good stuff I needed like planetary fortress. I cannot even beat it on Hard. I got up to about 90%.

i played through the first 3 missions, i'm trying to get 'the best defense...' achievement right now, I don't think I'm gonna do it without medics. I just tried 2 times in a row with 3 rax reactor marine pushes and I can't get past those damn spine crawlers

finally did this one.. I found it pretty tricky. You needed 4 raxes, 3 of them double pumping rines and 1 for medics, and you had to push out at the exact right moment. It could probably be done differently

what do you mean 29 missions. mine says 26
and can you get the secret mission once you've already beaten that level in the mission archive?

There are 29 missions total including the "choose your path" missions.
To go back and play the secret mission, load the last save before going to char and re-play Media Blitz.

ok got it, turns out you can pick it up.. I wasn't looking at the star map afterwards, I thought it was supposed to just take you there after the media blitz mission.. Are there any missions unlocked by playing through brutal?
