I came back to war2 close to about 2.6 years ago... i played for about a year and a half, for the most part it seemed like pretty much all of the "decent" players stayed at the same skill level over the first 1.5 years i played.

Well about 8 months ago i stopped playing war2 for the most part ... apparently so did a lot of other people (server seems to have decreased in size since i last played) .. but one thing i noticed, some of the "decent" players from 8 months ago (same people who showed little to no progress in skill) seem to be teetering on the line of "pros" of today's players.

my theory: due to the lack of "pros" playing the last 8 or so months, the remaining pros were more or less forced to ally/allow "decent" players to play if anyone expected to get a game going .... so, the decent players were given a chance to play with/watch/learn from the pros, inevitably increasing their own skill.

so .. i suggest ALL good players adopt a routine where they set some games aside strictly for "gow/ef everyone welcome" type games .. maybe 1 out of every 5 games, or 1 out of every 10, or even more if you want to speed the process up... just something where the "newbs" have a chance to compete with the best and learn from what the pros are doing.

its just a suggestion if you want to contribute to the development of future gow/ef competition
