Depends. If you want to get it super fast, then go 10 - 12. If you want some Ogres, then 17 (but it would be smarter to just dual than to do that)

21? Are you fucking smoking? I would have been considerate but you responded to me - 21 is insane. Not only would you be raped by a 2 cat rush, a sap, or a few Death Knights, but a dual would COMPLETELY blow you away. Your 2nd hall on a dual is finished by the time you have about 8 Peons. From there each hall makes a Peon at the same time. By the time you would have had 21 Peons, if I dualed I would have 34...Shut up if you are going to say something that stupid.

I agree with Bizatch... 1 hall power with 21 peon keep = death.
Most people have already given good advice. Go with 17 or 18 if you're going for lust.

the answer is 12 peons, put 3 of them on wood, wall in with a cat and keep one peon outside.use the outside peon to make a farm(hidden of course) while going hold, then make the ogremound with the first peon that is built out of the hold.while the mound is building make 2 more peons for wood, depending on how your wood is coming in you can upgrade weapons/shield while going fort. have your outside peon make another rax outside, put up your altar when fort and make a third rax. you should have 40k left in your mine, so pump lusties, scout with eyes of kilrogg, and pound away. the problem with this is hackers will cut your peon down. if you think the guy is hacking, make the raxes on the inside and chop out.

I usually like to get around 58 peons before hold, only in special cases, like when I'm playing ~BiZaTcH~.
