hearing enemy's lust

i've played games where i would send my lusted ogres to an enemy's base and find his ogres lusted and waiting. when i ask, he says that he heard me lust. so i'm wondering how close do you have to be for your opponent to hear u lust?

I dont have an answer for you right now but I'll test it.

However, good players will constantly be lusting. There is no reason to EVER move your ogres without having lust on. It takes 2 casts to move ogres all the way across the map. Lust up at home, and use the attack command to somewhere a little past halfway to where your going. Relust and hit. The spell is only 50 mana, and by the time it wears off you practically have another 50 mana built up (slight exaggeration :P).

So if the game is at the fortress stage, and nothing much is happening, you can pretty much bet that there are ogres heading your way. Lust up.

I hate to agree with the great axolotl, but rather than constantly lusting, relusting, and worrying about your lust to run out halfway through a fight, why not send a scout Ogre (or flier) up ahead of your pack. If you see his Ogres, lust your own. Be sure to send the Ogre a decent distance, though.

Plus, this way you'll have some runes..

Disagree? :P

I still find it easier just lusting and going. If you dont want to waste that much time, lust the front 5 and go. If you run into em, lust the back ones or just run back.
