Haste..

You don't even know the half of it. Haste is the most screwed up spell in the game. It takes certain units and makes them increase speed alot, others a little...others none. There's no order to it whatsoever.

K I'm just curious because this is annoying me - a normal Ogre can rush a lot faster than a normal DK, but a hasted DK can run a lot faster than a Hasted Ogre - WHY?! That's so gay that Blizzard did this to us!

Also, Slow on an Ogre makes it reduce speed, and same with on a DK. Also, Slow makes Ogres hit slower and Haste makes it hit at the same speed. That's just gay!!

The current state of "haste" was Blizzard's
idea of balancing gameplay. Some may argue
that they should have made haste effect all,
and slow effect all, and thus cancelling out
each other. But, then IMHO, Blizzard would
have said screw it, what's the point of having the two spells at all, if two fully
teched players will just end up cancelling each other out. So my guess is they picked the best strategic combination to use haste/slow in "their" opinions..

Oh and P.S., slow on ogres was planned to negate the power of lust and
decrease the running speed.

Haste..

Haste actually SLOWS your rate of attack. Animations are sped up but make 2 ogres attack something at same time and watch the hasted 1 fall behind. He punches faster that's it. Of course it speeds up dragons and deathknights. I'm talking about melee warriors. I like the christmas lights on the alchemists house...

The game does not revolve around haste and slow.

It obviously doesn't revolve around Haste, Messiah, because if it did people would Haste/Bloodlust their Ogres, making them 9x as strong (i believe)...What DS said was right I believe...

Thx Biz..

At no point was I trying to imply that
this game revolves around two spells. If
I confused you, I apologize.
