This is really kinda opinionative but to me, mages are the strongest, most powerful unit in the game.

driftblade these ppl dont know what they are talking about. the unit that can have the highest upgrade is the archer - tell you something? lvl 7 archers own the map. use em and you'll be unbeatable and have the right to trash talk as much as ~Summoner and [24-7]Valkrie :[

Well, clearly mages can do more damage in a wider area across a greater distance in a shorter amount of time, but to use them to a comparable extent you have to do a whole ton of clicking and looking, and scouting and strategic building.

Ogremages on the other hand, with lust require very little thought to use, and also very little action to launch effectively, leaving you lots of time to do other things.


So it's not cut and dried, on the faster speeds it's very difficult to use mages to their full extend, but if you have the skill, mages are technically more powerful.

I always liked death knights as 1 of only 2 orc units that can regain hit points. In limited resources they can be quite powerful and although rais dead sucks against an opponent with any amount of intellegence it can screw a computer. Is the only free melee warrior and can swarm a base if raised from the worker's corpses. I made a map once where you get 8 DKs and a Gul'dan with 60 hp 16 pircing dammage and 5 range and you have to defeat 4 computer players. By the end I had like 2 dozen skeletons.

Soth, I was referring to Stoopids post when upgrade time is 0. This would be for free maps and other maps where upgrades would happen instantantly. Before the patch was released, a player could click multiple times on a single upgrade that would allow them to obtain more lvl's than possible. ie: lvl 15. This was often mistaken for a hack until it was fixed. It would work especially well in laggy games.

It should require skill, it dosent have to but then it would just be gay. Bedides it could give you finger dammage, all that clicking.

A free map being gay is your opinion, not a fact. Some people might think it is fun and some might not. You are entitled to your opinion but frankly i think its stupid. Please dont post stupid things, it ruins the atmosphere for all of us.

any map made by blizzard will require strategy. castles is just a dumbass map where you make 1 billion rax, click non stop and send your units to attack
