The best characters by far were Merle and Shane, but they're both gone and the show is suffering. The only character which is interesting to me is Carol. Everyone else is completely stupid, annoying, absurdly unrealistic, boring/generic, or some combination of those 4. For example, Carl is all 4 of them.

Hope Carol kills them all in the finale!

i haven't watched the last 2 week's episodes yet but the couple before them I literally fast forwarded through much of the episode. this half season or w/e it is has been by far the worst on the show. i've really seen enough of the characters searching houses while developing their totally uninteresting characters.

The show is getting worse and worse. This thread has been more entertaining by far

For all those who said the show got worse this season, I thought so too, Til I have been doing some reading into what Terminus may be, and they have left clues lying around in every episode, that I missed.

Also all the omens about the flowers, and deer. Carol telling whats her name "If you don't learn to kill you'll be dead on your feet", then shoots her. Wherever their are flowers, in all the series, there is death.

I think Glen Dies in finale (Korean BBQ, eaten by the cult), Rick kills/triggers death of one of his own, possibly daryl( mistaking him for one of The Claimers) or Carl, Michone also has no real untold stories anymore. I am also interested to know what has happened to Beth. She is at Terminus no doubt, but is she their welcoming meal? Or still alive. Looking back upon what happened, and what I saw, in this season, it makes you think a lot more happened then what you think.

I also think Maggie telling Glenn he won't need her photo anymore may indicate Glenn is destined to become Korean BBQ. Or maybe maggie, burning her own picture etc. I can't wait til Monday

walking dead has never done it for me, it took me like a month to watch the first season which only has 6 episodes.

and i never made it through the second season.

The show isn't "boring" so to speak, since a lot of exciting events happen, but it was missing something, it never was MVP of my television schedule.

All of my favorite shows (always sunny, breaking bad, eastbound and down, battlestar galactica, portlandia, game of thrones, the wire, probably some more im forgetting) have had their moment of being the only thing I want to watch on TV, and shows like Always Sunny are a constant staple of "background noise while gaming/programming/cooking" like everyday of my life.

the walking dead straddles that line, along with Dexter and Mad Men, where the show is pretty good and I kind of like it, but its never going to be more than 4th or 5th on my tv depth-chart.

- I hope Maggie and Glenn both get BBQ'd. I've had enough of them.

- I actually like the Joe character so far. He has great potential and the actor does a good job. They should trade him for Daryl and put him in the main cast.

- I'm in love with Carol, no joke. I would totally date her even though she's twice my age. Great actress, very pretty, hopefully a cougar, gg.

- Eugene's character is over the top and misplaced. At least he's kind of funny, I guess?

- I forgot to add Herschel to the list of best characters they killed off along with Shane and Merle. Holy shit Herschel was the man! Milton was kind of an interesting guy too, also dead of course. What the heck?!? He would be a great character to still have around.

- I think the show got slightly better this season compared to the last. Andrea being dead is a big reason for that.

GreenHorn: Nexus cried every time I beat him but still thought he was better.

Never watched an entire episode. Unlike Breaking Bad its not a show you can just stumble into and fall in love with. Ive wanted to marathon it tho.

ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED!?!?

Compared to the majority of shite on TV I enjoy watching it with my wife. Seeing Rick go ham is always good times.

The show isn't about being epic and over the top, although it does have its moments. You have to buy into the fact that its about the characters and immersing in the moment at a relatively slow pace if you really want to enjoy it. That makes the high points actually nice and not "mehhh not epic enough for me" media gluttony.
