4/5 dual rush?

u're 9/12/2 with 1 rax that u didnt repair.

imo if u go 1rax only, u always repair it, even @ 6. i havent watched that replay which u posted and i wont, just saying.

4-5 dual is actually pretty ez to take down. only problem is if u dont scout it early enuff. p scouting is underestimated imo. i see so often ppl doing 2rax instantly and perhaps smith first. no p scout. no idea what opponent is doing, they just 2 rax from the beginning. it's just waste and makes u slower.

well anyway. i try to tell it. live in the game. change ur strat after u c what ur opponent does. quickly make 2nd rax n p stop rush his dummy grunts off and then tower peons from the spot he has no rax and cat the other base. i dunno hard to explain. or then u cud go counter dualing n rush him a little that he makes much defence. it's all about different situations.

ive seen him do this strat twice already, and since ppl only upload their victorious vids, i cant tell what is the optimal counter for this

and yeah, the situation is 1 rax without peon scout or repair. it be easy otherwise

If you're 9, and rushing, and you've scouted him early enough, then hit right away with what you've got and bring a peon or two to wall in his rax, and tower the mines or tower into him.

You shouldn't lose to a dual rush if you're rushing, if you hit early enough. If you wait too long you're dead.

At least that's what it use to be like 2 years ago...
