Seems to be fixed for me.. so I just playde my placement. I lost my 5th game when i was way ahead due to not scouting muta... now I'm only platinum grrrrr

I heard it is but I just tried to get a placement match, and it looked for a game for 3 minutes before I hit cancel, but cancel didn't work, so I logged off, and when I came back on it told me I can't look for a placement match because I'm already in the queue Very Happy

Oh and then Sypher and I tried to play a custom game and it said no available servers if either of us hit create. Bnet is kind of fucked right now.

lost 4 out of 5 placement matches due to lagging out & being dropped.
The game I did win was cuz other guy lagged out.
BRONZE FTW..
On a side note, I just bought a new cpu. Gonna build it next week. YAY

That's messed up you got stuck in bronze because you got dropped 4 out of 5 placement games. I went 2-0 but then started getting this stupid scmaster error before I could even get a game. Now, it just says match unavailable. Bnet is pretty messed up at the moment.

I'm guessing they are going to reset the ladder again next patch after they fix this freezing/dropping issue.

you won't get stuck in leagues cuz you move up/down relatively quickly. beta ends 31st anyway no one should really care about their ladder ranks now.

yeah I just tried playing a game and it just stuck, I had to alt-f4 out of the game because nothing was responding. It was a placement match too, although I really don't care what division I get placed in I think it's dumb that the game is completely crashing and they haven't taken the servers down while it's being fixed, kind of a waste of my time.

Diamond currently 13-3

Alltho Diamond means absolutely nothing. My real life mate which ive seen play several times in person is absolutely horrible before the patch he was getting raped by copper league newbs - His apm is about 20-30 and got put into diamond league (4-1)

The fact is you shouldn't even be able to get into diamond league from placements, let alone when you go 4-1.. You should have to rape in plat for a decent amount of time before u get moved to diamond..

Eh? No id rather a proper ladder that shows my overall rank so i know where i'm actually placed. Basically the way i see it now,


Diamond = low average to pro
Any League below = below average to total newb


What it should be, blindly obvious IMO expect for the blind of course (blizzard)

Diamond = Very hard to get into only top players after lots of games/wins in platinum can get into

Platinum = Very good 5-0 in placement and must consistently do well

Gold = Average skill (is where most players should be placed)

Silver = below average

bronze = total newbs/learning the basics

Yeah Luoson is right, diamond is just plat now and they didn't really create a pro division but now people can feel good when they make diamond AND people can feel good when they make plat heh.

Reason is obvious, bronze is a metal alloy that is like 80-90% copper. It is almost like having two leagues with the same name. It was a very stupid choice to begin with and I bet they were kicking themselves afterward.
